A roofing client needed high-intent leads without depending on paid search. We built and deployed a hyper-local direct mail campaign. It added $106,000 in scheduled lead opportunities before the month was out.

In competitive markets like Portland, digital advertising for roofing is expensive. Pay per click costs run $15 to $40 per click. Cost per lead can push past $1,000. Most homeowners do not replace a roof until something forces the issue, which means showing up at the right time matters more than showing up everywhere.
Peak needed a way to reach homeowners before they were actively searching and before a competitor was already in front of them.

The results
$106,000
In scheduled lead opportunities added to pipeline.
The campaign generated high-ticket inspection appointments within weeks of landing in mailboxes. It also introduced the brand before homeowners started actively searching, which lowered acquisition costs across their digital channels at the same time.

The approach
We filtered property records across the Portland metro for homes built 18 to 25 or more years ago with composition roofs nearing replacement age. Instead of a broad mailer, we targeted specific neighborhoods in Wilsonville, Lake Oswego, Beaverton, and Portland where the density made the campaign worth running.
The creative led with what actually differentiates Peak: full-time W-2 crews, Owens Corning Platinum Preferred status, and a straightforward offer for an honest roof evaluation and written quote. Tracked phone numbers and QR codes tied the mailer back to their digital presence so every response was measurable.
